John Elkins is a research intern at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. He graduated with an A.B. in History from Princeton University and has also studied finance at the London School of Economics. John's independent work at Princeton included a historical assessment of the ways in which the Scholastic Aptitude Test and the organizations that produce and distribute it, namely the College Board and the Educational Testing Service, have changed since the test's inception. Originally from Houston, TX, John grew up the middle child in a family of nine.
