We're back for a brief visit
June 29, 2008
There's so much going on this summer: high gasoline and other energy prices, a looming presidential election, the nation's (and in particular, Ohio's) continuing economic problems, and ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Terry Ryan, Fordham's Ohio vice president for programs and policy, had a recent op-ed in the Columbus Dispatch concerning the emerging debate in state education policy. Now, we'll lead off with a piece by Thomas B. Fordham President Chester E. Finn Jr., which ran as an op-ed in Saturday's Wall Street Journal.
