Christopher Rom

Research Intern

Chris began working as a research intern at Fordham in January 2017.  A native of Arlington, VA, he graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s in chemistry in May 2016.  As an undergrad, he dabbled in the field of education as a STEM tutor for 3rd graders, a student-teacher in an 11th grade chemistry classroom, and as a mentor within the student-run ambulance agency (Georgetown Emergency Response Medical Service).  Between his undergraduate career and his internship, he worked first as a Ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch, educating youth in leadership, backpacking, and outdoor ethics, then as an organic chemistry laboratory teaching assistant at his alma mater.  In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading, and running.
