Jason Crye

Jason Crye is the Executive Director of Hispanics for School Choice, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based advocacy organization that serves Hispanic families by informing them of their educational options and advocating for parents’ right to choose the school that best fits their needs. Under his leadership, Hispanics for School Choice has expanded its grassroots efforts throughout Wisconsin and engaged in efforts in Texas and Illinois. 

Jason also writes for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. His blog, The Rattle Bag, covers a wide variety of cultural, religious, and political issues. 

As a practicing attorney, Jason has represented hundreds of clients.  In 2012, he established Spanish language services at the Bankruptcy Help Desk of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Wisconsin, which provides legal assistance to individuals who cannot afford a lawyer.

Jason is the President of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders, and is a member of the St. Thomas More Lawyers Society of Wisconsin. 

He and his wife Beth have five children.
