Marwa Berri is the Sponsorship Associate for the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. Prior to joining Fordham’s Sponsorship team, she worked as a graduate assistant for the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Educator Effectiveness. She has also worked with OSU’s Upward Bound Program for several years during their summer program, serving as the Lead Tutor-Counselor. Additionally, she has experience working with a few nonprofit organizations in Ohio, such as School Choice Ohio and CMAA Capital Park Refugee Services, in which she developed an after-school tutoring program. Marwa recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master of Public Administration and specialization in education policy. She completed her bachelor of arts in political science and sociology at OSU, as well. She is a Dayton native and very glad to be back in her hometown.
